SAD Magazine is an independent non-profit publication showcasing local contemporary and emerging artists. I volunteered as creative director and co-publisher for two issues, working closely with a small team of editors and the board. I sourced artists, designed the full magazine, and managed printing through MET Printers.
Issue 35 Blank Slate kept the classic two-colour print style used in past issues.
In Issue 36 Texture, I moved the magazine from its usual two-colour format to full colour, opening up the visual range for more dynamic layouts. I also produced a playful prickly-fruit photoshoot with photographer Tracy Moromisato.
